Meet Your Coaches!

Tylor (all pronouns) is a talented performer, writer and voice teacher who studied musical theatre at the University of Surrey (UK).  He's written and performed in numerous cabarets, plays, and musicals, and has begun development on a made-for-TV musical with Juno Winner & Grammy Nominee Pablosky Rosales, from the Cuban band Cubanismo. The musical expresses his experience as a Non-Binary person, raised in a repressive region.

A co-founder of Camp on Fire Productions, Tylor has written and produced several short films & a pilot, in collaboration with Canadian creative powerhouses from Schitt's Creek, Kim's Convenience, & Star Trek

Their aim is to train and empower queer voices and to help queer singers exist unapologetically as their true self.

Jaspis (they/them) is a voice teacher who studied with the likes of Sam Johnson & John Henny, and is a member of the International Voice Teachers of Mix. They've preformed with bands Auracle and MaYan, and have provided vocals for project August Life, working with talented musicians like Mark Jansen (Epica) and Henning Basse (Sons of Seasons).

Their history with trauma led them to seek training in somatic practice, trauma intervention and other mental health practices.

“Singing is body work. Taking voice lessons can be an emotionally charged endeavour, which should be approached with care and respect. My passion is to provide people like myself the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe, trauma-informed environment.”
